Model 1873 naval revolver.
11mm caliber, year 1883. 6 shots, single and double action. This example has all the appropriate markings and all parts are serial number "9149". In particular, the letter M positioned after the "Mle 1873" marking indicates that the revolver was modified for naval use. The absence of a prefix on the serial number, as well as the naval anchor stamped on the butt of the grip, also confirm the naval model. It functions perfectly with no play. Excellent, bright barrel with very sharp rifling. The chambers are in very good condition.
