PAIR OF FLINTLOCK PISTOLS, BY JOSEF LLINAROS IN MALAGA

Steel, wood, silver, gold, and horn
Total length: 28.5 cm; barrel length: 14.6 cm; caliber: 18 mm
Barrels slightly trumpeted, flat then round, with two registers separated by a frieze.
Relief engravings of scrollwork foliage, with traces of gilding in the recesses.
Breech tails engraved with flowers and foliage.
Engraved silver caps.
Miquelet locks, signed on the bodies and marked MALAGA on the hammers. Engraved hammers, springs, and basins.
The counter-plates are made of cut iron with engraved decoration; one has a belt strap. Engraved bridges.
Walnut mounts, carved with foliage. The ovoid caps have long tails and are engraved with shells. The cap nails are engraved in suite.
Walnut ramrods; one with a tip, the other is missing.
In fairly good condition.
