Large Louis XV style cartel clock with polychrome floral decoration on a green background. The whole decorated with gilded bronzes. Large grilles in pierced, gilded, chiseled brass and upholstered with fabrics. Large enamel dial with decoration simulating 13 cartouches. Roman numerals for the hours, railway for the minutes with Arabic numerals every 5 minutes. Signed Gilles l'Ainé in Paris. Blued steel hands in the persil style. Paris movement with striking the hours and half hours on a rake gong. Revised mechanism, complete with its pendulum and key.
