Alcove cartel in gilt bronze with a beautiful ornamentation of volutes and leafy moldings typical of the Louis XV style.
The deep chiseling of the bronzes is highlighted by the alternating matte and shiny gilding.
The white enameled dial has 2 black concentric circles for the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals.
It is in perfect condition of enamel, protected by a beveled domed glass.
The fully revised movement is in working order.
The cartel has its 19th century movement engraved "JAPY Frères".
Some traces of wear to the gilding which has been cleaned by a professional.
