Charming Rococo style cartel clock, in red tortoiseshell, with gilt bronze ornamentation. The movement is signed by Aldolphe Mougin, a famous 19th century clockmaker. In good overall condition, there is some wear to the tortoiseshell, patina of age on the gilt, and irregularities and differences in shape in the bronze, typical of Rococo production.
