A Louis XV Period (1724 - 1774) Green Horn Bracket Clock.

Horn green and gilt bronze bracket clock decorated with scrolls and flowers. Deux putti symbolizing the Fidelity and the Time above and below the enamelled dial that indicates hours in Roman numbers and minutes in Arab numbers on the decorated backround. Strikes on demand.
Signed "Ferdinand Gentil A Marseille". Stamped "Ant. Foullet" and "JME" - Gathering of Cabinet-makers Masters. Antoine Foullet was received Master on the 17 February 1749. Some of his works are at the National Museum in Stockholm and at the Wallace Collection.
