A Louis XVI Period (1774 - 1793) Pair Of Wall-lights.

A Louis XVI period pair of delicately chiselled gilt bronze two lights scones in Louis XVI style in shape of putto bearing a crown of wine leaves and holding two arms of light decorated with leaves and corns. The lower part of scones is decorated with leaves and finishing with a pine cone. Very nice original chiseling and gilding.
After a model by Pierre Gouthière (1732 - 1813), after a design by Jean-Louis Prieur (1732 - 1795).
Very good state of conservation.
To respect the authenticity the scones have not been perforated for electricity.
