- the Eight Auspicious Symbols

Ashtamangala, a sacred set of symbols in Buddhism, particularly in Tibetan Vajrayāna and Newar traditions. Each symbol carries deep spiritual meaning:
Top Panel (Left to Right):
1. Lotus (Padma) – Purity and spiritual awakening.
2. Treasure Vase (Kalasha) – Spiritual and material abundance.
3. Stupa (Dharmachakra base) – Enlightenment and the Buddha’s mind.
4. Victory Banner (Dhvaja) – Triumph over ignorance and defilements.
Bottom Panel (Left to Right):
5. Mirror / Endless Knot (Shrivatsa) – Interconnectedness of all things / Infinite wisdom.
6. Conch Shell (Shankha) – Proclamation of the Dharma (Buddhist teachings).

"Homage to the Blessed One, Lord of Speech, the Bodhisattva of the Mahāyāna path."

Transliteration (IAST):
|| namo mañjuśrīye bodhisattvāya mahājñānaprāptāya || Translation (English):
"Homage to Mañjuśrī, the Bodhisattva, the one who has attained great wisdom."

Transliteration (IAST):
|| namaḥ sarvajñānāya sarvadarśanāya sarvabuddhāya || Translation (English):
"Homage to all-knowing wisdom, all-seeing vision, and all Buddhas."

"Homage to the Blessed Youthful Mañjuśrī! For the accomplishment of omniscient wisdom, the fulfillment of all aims, the delight of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the pacification of all sins, all diseases, all impurities, and all afflictions."
