19th-early 20th century, of very high quality, stamped by the sculptor
Eugène Lelièvre (1856-1945) and the equally famous Parisian founder
"Susse frères." Made of gilt bronze, beautifully understated, finely
chiseled with scrolling foliage and floral motifs. Domed white enamel
dial with fine gilt hands, protected by domed glass.
Original, unmodified movement, striking on the hours and half-hour on an antique bell.
