Artillery Officer's Belt Buckle 19th Century
Bronze belt buckle for a National Guard artillery officer, embossed with 2 round plates, each 4.8 cm in diameter, decorated with a cockerel standing on two crossed cannons with a flaming grenade at the bottom. The plates are linked by an S-shaped hook representing a double snake.
Condition: very good considering its age. Beautiful patina and gilding. THE PHOTOS SERVE AS A DESCRIPTION.
