White Opaline Bottle19th Century With A Chinese Man

Very attractive white opaline "savonneuse" bottle with openwork brass pompom mount. Four medallions, painted with polychrome decorations representing bouquets of flowers, adorn this bottle. The stopper features a seated Chinese figure holding an opium pipe. The base is also openwork and decorated with sphinxes.

Condition: very good overall. A few light scratches from use. Three small original defects in the opaline. PHOTOS ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION, ASK FOR MORE PHOTOS IF NECESSARY.
