Early 20th Century Bridal Globe With Fabric Floral Arrangement And Wax Buds

Very pretty early 20th century bridal globe with a total height of 46.5 cm. It is sold with its interior composed of a pretty fabric floral arrangement dotted with wax orange blossom buds. At the back of this rich composition is a large medallion covered in pink silk studded with golden brass flowers, two rectangular mirrors on the sides and golden brass foliage. The whole is topped with a bow bearing the inscription: ‘souvenirs de parrain et de marraine’ (memories of godfather and godmother).

This globe comes from a collector's collection of 13 globes of different sizes, shapes and interiors, each one also unique and for sale.

Condition: very good condition.
Please bear in mind that the wax interiors are fragile and that these are objects that have stood the test of time, so there may be some wear and tear on certain buds and sometimes breaks in the branches.
