Enameled Plate From Limoges In The Style Of Jacques I Laudin "la Folie"

Beautiful enameled plaque in the style of the piece acquired by the Musée de Limoges in 2002: "La Folie" by enameler Jacques I Laudin (c. 1627-1695). This piece is also inspired by an engraving by the artists Goltzius and Saenredam "fou berçant sa marotte". The enamel piece for sale is a painted enamel on copper in blue grisaille and gold highlights. Possibly by Jacques II Laudin (1663 - 1729).

Condition: good overall condition. The main view is in good condition. The edges are missing. Slightly larger enamel skip on the top. The back is missing, revealing the copper color.
