Mourning Brooch In Hair, Gold, Diamonds, Pearls 19th Century

Beautiful mourning brooch or keepsake. It features hair marquetry on which are carefully applied the initials BB in “rose-cut diamonds”. The whole is encircled by fine split pearls.
This brooch is mounted on gold (jeweler-tested) with chevron-chased edges.
The back is protected by a beautiful mother-of-pearl pastille.

Condition: very good.

Marked: yes, on the clasp to be determined, as it has been partly erased.
