Napoleon III Bridal Globe With Oval Base, Crown, Earrings And Branches

A beautiful globe with an oval base in the style of a low basket. The frame is decorated with flower-shaped tinsel, vine leaves and oak leaves. The bridal crown, held in place by pins, rests on the velvet cap. The earrings are attached to the brass border around the crown. Orange blossom branches have been added around the tinsel.

The crown, earrings and orange blossom branches are made of wax.

This globe comes from a collector's collection of 13 globes of different sizes, shapes and interiors, each one also for sale.</sup>

Condition: a crack in the base. Otherwise in perfect condition.
The base and bell are original and belong to the same set.
The visible space between the two is due to a deformation of the wood, a common phenomenon caused by variations in temperature and humidity.

Please bear in mind that wax interiors are fragile and that these are objects that have stood the test of time, so there may be some missing buds and occasionally broken branches.
