Classic representation of thethe Virgin Mary and the Infant Jesus who appear haloed, on a radianton a radiant background, in a cloud carried by an angel. The sides and topand top of the frame, as well as the bowl, are carefullygarlands and braids held in place by medallion flowers,framed by acanthus leaves. The suspension ring is fixed to a palmetteon a palmette, while the bottom of the bowl is embellished with a floral button.button. This lovely piece, in perfect condition, dates from the mid-19thcentury. Weight 39.2 gr.
