The cross features openwork ends and a radiating center, with Christ on the obverse and the Virgin Mary on the reverse. It hangs from its original black velvet ribbon, which is adorned with a heart-shaped loop engraved with a rose branch. The top of the ribbon is decorated with a silver scalloped edge and a square of colored embroidery.
Very good condition. Hallmark and maker's mark on the cross. No hallmark is visible on the heart, which also seems to be silver.
