Large gilded bronze bas-relief, 19th century
This bas-relief shows a saint or an apostle in prayer. Depicted with curly hair and long twisted beard, he has his elbows resting on a ledge, and keeps his hands joined with folded fingers except raised index fingers. Barefoot, he wears a long tunic that falls in thick pleats.
Excellent condition, worn-out gilding on reliefs, brown patina. Two fixing holes.
