20th-century Polytechnique School bicorn hat. Made of taupe-black felt, edged with a braid woven with laurel branches. Stamped gilt brass trim imitating passementerie, held by a hemispherical button bearing the name and coat of arms of the École Polytechnique. Black silk lining. Size 55 cm. Good condition, with signs of wear. Please note the sweatband is a replacement, not original.
