Objet De Curiosité: Trompe l'Oeil Spirit Cellar With Old Books

Secret liquor cabinet. Beneath its appearance of 4 antique books, the real thing hides an arrangement of 3 amber bottles with leather-wrapped metal stoppers and a white plastic stopper underneath for each of the 3 bottles. Fun fact: the title of the fake books is "Antiquity explained".

Condition: good. The flap needs to be restored or reattached. Some wear from use.
Please note: 1 bottle still contains alcohol, as shown in the photo, and will be emptied if sent.very good condition, despite some wear in the bronze patina.
