The lower part is richly decorated with gold foil depicting various flowers, complemented by biscuit flowers, the whole framing a rectangular bevelled mirror.
The bridal crown and bouquet are preserved on a pink silk cap, slightly worn and faded by time, as is common for this type of piece.
The upper part features a decoration composed of gold foil in the shape of flowers, biscuit flowers, three mirrors and a gold dove bearing the crown of peace, a symbol of unity and purity.
The orange blossoms on the crown and bouquet are made of wax, in keeping with 19th-century custom.
