The child Jesus is holding the white lilies, symbol of Mary.
The composition has a curtain behind which he glimpses the division into squares, barely visible.
Delicatissimi is a refined drawing of the Madonna's face.
The parchment is placed on a wooden tablet, which gives support and stability to the parchment sheet. On the back of the panel there is an inscription in French: “Ce tableax apartien a Monsieur… (hardly legible) ou a ses héritiers.”
Slight traces of division into squares can be glimpsed on the curtain.
Small deficiencies but apparently absent old restorations.
