Very beautiful signet ring in yellow gold whose plate is decorated with a very beautiful oval cameo in three-layer agate representing a profile of a Roman emperor with his face turned to the right.
the cameo is carved in a pink and white agate.
it consists of a first layer of dark pink background on which has been sculpted the profile of the emperor turned to the right, whose face appears in pinkish white, with long wavy hair in the neck.
the third stratum of agate appears in dark pink with the laurel wreath crowning the profile as well as the coat held by a fibula, both very finely carved in agate.
the cameo is oval and the profile is set in a wide gold setting, perfectly highlighting it.
the frame is a modern work of the 20th century in the manner of a signet ring with a large plate, very finely made and of very good quality intended to highlight this very beautiful cameo dating from the beginning of the 19th century.
