A charming Restoration-era perfume set or small fragrance cabinet (fragrance set) in gilded bronze, round in shape, comprising four quarter-round vials with small, ornately worked bronze rings and faceted cut-glass stoppers.
The four bottles fit perfectly into their gilded bronze holder in the Louis XVI style, decorated with lovebirds on quivers and flaming torches above a frieze of floral motifs and arabesques surrounding antique vases.
Take a close look at the photos—the quality of the engraving is superb.
The set is in excellent condition; there is just one stopper stuck to its bottle by old perfume—I don’t dare force it open.
