Our portrait dates from the 19th century and has a signature that is difficult to decipher at the bottom left with a date.
The portrait is very well treated, full of emotion and spirituality, this man seems to receive an illumination.
It is an oil on canvas in good condition, relined in the 20th century.
The frame is carved in polychrome and gilded wood with radiant decoration and decorated with angels' heads, at the top, bottom and sides.
The sculptures are very naive and reminiscent of certain frames from the Spanish Renaissance.

notre portrait date du XIX eme siècle et comporte une signature difficile à déchiffrer en bas à gauche avec une date.
le portrait est très bien traité, emprunt d'émotion et de spiritualité, cet homme semble recevoir une illumination.
il s'agit d'une huile sur toile en bon état rentoilée au XX eme siècle.
le cadre est sculpté en bois polychrome et doré à décor rayonnant et agrémenté de tête d'anges, en haut, en bas et sur les côtés.
les sculptures sont très naïves et rappellent certains cadre de la renaissance espagnole.
il s'agit d'un beau cadre décoratif tout en bois sculpté, doré et polychrome, un travail du XIX eme siècle.
l'ensemble toile et cadre forment un décor saisissant, et extrêmement décoratif.
