Set Of Six Chinese Paintings On Rice Paper—19th Century

A set of six polychrome Chinese paintings in red lacquer frames, depicting scenes of social life and figures in traditional costumes. A palanquin and attendants, a chained prisoner, and groups of dignitaries.
These paintings follow the tradition of Chinese export paintings produced in the second half of the 19th century.
Some warping, cracks, and chips on certain frames. One of the frames measures 34 x 23 cm.
