Antique Art Nouveau Polychrome Ceramic Vase, Attributed To The Amphora (riessner, Stellmacher &
The piece features a form highly characteristic of the *Jugendstil* production of this period: a globular body, a long, slightly curved neck, an asymmetrical leaf-shaped opening, long applied stems coiling around the neck, and botanical ornamentation in high relief. The design combines large ivory-colored leaves or water lilies, a matte green background, an "old rose" (dusty pink) neck, and gilded accents. The overall composition is remarkably organic and highly representative of the Art Nouveau aesthetic. The underside bears a number and traces of old red markings, now partially worn away. Dimensions: Height: 22.5 cm; Maximum diameter: 12 cm. Condition: In very good state of preservation. No chips or cracks. The applied elements and long decorative stems are intact. There are some slight signs of use and age, consistent with the piece's antiquity. Period: Circa 1900–1902. Origin: Bohemia, Turn-Teplitz. Attribution: Amphora / Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel.
