Royal Worcester Dolphin Handled Blush Ivory Vase Pair, Persian Range, 1902–1903
A decorative pair of Royal Worcester blush ivory porcelain vases dating from 1902 and 1903. Their elegant proportions, gilded dolphin handles and finely painted floral decoration make them highly attractive display pieces for both traditional and eclectic interiors.
Produced in shape 1578, the vases belong to Worcester's celebrated Persian Range. The softly shaded ivory ground is complemented by naturalistic floral painting and rich gilding, while the dolphin handles provide a distinctive sculptural element. The variation between the floral bouquets highlights the hand-painted nature of the decoration and reflects Worcester's commitment to individual artistic workmanship.
The bases retain the Royal Worcester mark, Registration Number 188681 and shape number 1578. Worcester date marks confirm production in 1902 and 1903. Their combination of blush ivory porcelain, gilding and sculptural handles makes them among the most recognisable designs produced by the factory during the Edwardian period.
An appealing and authentic Edwardian pair with strong decorative presence.
