A sublime pair of large decorative Limoges porcelain plates, of exceptional size (46.5 cm!!!). True works of art on porcelain.
The designs are entirely hand-painted and depict two charming river landscapes. They were executed on a shaped piece from the Tressemanes & Vogt manufactory. The manufactory’s stamp is present on the reverse, dating from the period 1892–1907. They also bear the signature of the porcelain painter and decorator Desgropes in the lower right corner of each design.
Our two plates are sold with a wall mount (see last photo).
