Rare Tureen And Its Presentation Dish In Limoges Porcelain, Double Gold Inlay

Exceptional soup tureen in Limoges porcelain, accompanied by its presentation dish. Our porcelain is partially made on an Empire green color background embellished with vegetal and stylized gold-colored motifs. The tureen, the lid, as well as the sleeping dish are decorated with pretty bouquets of various flowers, contained in reserves with a white background, delimited by leafy garlands, made with fine gold. The floral decorations are enhanced by hand giving more relief to the whole, they are all signed by the decorator, at the bottom of each decoration: "M; Joss". Each piece is embellished with a large circular frieze made of double gold inlay and polished with agate, with interior motifs representing intertwined foliage, the soup tureen has a second frieze of the same motif and covers almost the entire foot.
