A magnificent multi-lobed Limoges porcelain box.
Our porcelain features a finely chiseled gilded brass frame and is adorned with a clasp depicting a buckle topped with a Louis XVI bow.
The two parts that make up our candy box are entirely decorated with a lovely floral motif, entirely hand-painted and signed by the artist F. Poujol on the back of the lid.
Poujol was a porcelain decorator renowned for his work.
It also bears the inscription “handmade in Limoges, France” on the bottom.
