A charming little chair for a bedroom or living room, in the Louis XV style, made of walnut, dating from the late 19th century.
It rests on four curved, carved legs topped with a delicate scroll motif.
The front crossbar of the apron is carved and decorated with a shell flanked by two acanthus leaves.
The top of the rounded backrest is also embellished with a shell framed by foliage and two small flowers.
The upholstery fabric was recently reupholstered; it is embossed velvet with a checkered pattern.
The padding is also fairly recent and comfortable.
