Pair of display stands , low and flat, decorated on one side of the surface with a large, finely interlaced monogram, whose complexity makes it difficult to decipher. On the reverse side, there is the inscription "Bordier & Cie Geneva, 3rd floor".It is primarily this provenance that gives these two stands their particular appeal.
Bordier & Cie is a Swiss private bank, founded in Geneva in 1844. It is one of the few banking institutions still operating today as banquiers privés, meaning that the partners bear unlimited personal liability. The bank has remained independent and family-run for five generations. Its headquarters are located at 16, Rue Henriette-et-Jeanne-Rath, 1204 Geneva.
