Pair Of Louis XV Cabriolet Armchairs, 18th Century, Floral And Acanthus Decor

Attractive pair of Louis XV period armchairs in various types of wood, mainly walnut, with a waxed patina.
Our two seats rest on four curved legs, with attractive acanthus leaf work embellishing the end of each front leg.
The belt is scalloped and features deep molding. The front crosspieces are carved with vegetal motifs, and the same motif is found on the top crosspiece of the backrest. An acanthus leaf is also carved on each side of the shoulder, completing the decoration.
The seat is comfortable, and the straps have recently been redone.
The fabric covering has been kept, and is in good home condition, although we note two small stains on the front of one of the seats (see photo).
Some minor repairs have been carried out. One of the armchairs has an antur on the left front leg and another on the right rear leg.
The second armchair has remained in its original condition, with only minor wear on the two ends of the two rear legs (see photo), with no effect on stability or solidity.
