Magnificent solid walnut four-leaf sideboard.
Our charming little piece of furniture dates from the early 17th century and rests on two square-section rear legs and two ball-shaped front legs, all topped with molding.
It opens on the front with four doors in two rows, with two drawers in the center framed by three small acanthus-decorated brackets. The front is also decorated with six vertical feather motifs on the jambs, as well as the door frames.
The sides of the cabinet are panelled in the same way as the leaves.
The interior is fully upholstered and decorated with attractive geometric motifs executed with a braided and studded finish.
