Two-part Louis XIII style buffet, 17th century, solid walnut. Important and magnificent two-part buffet from the Louis XIII period, of high quality, from the Périgord Sud Auvergne region. Features include beautiful moldings, doors decorated with diamond points, twisted columns, a removable pediment, walnut and ebonized wood marquetry, richly molded sides, carvings on the upper rail and cornice, four drawers with four different keys, original hardware and locks, and a chestnut interior.
