THIRIAR, James (Brussels 1889 - 1965). Pencil / watercolor 41 x 31 cm Unframed THIRIAR James is a painter of figures, caricaturist, but above all a costume designer attached to the Royal Theater of La Monnaie. He accompanied a Belgian expedition to Ruwenzori and brought back documentation on the flora and fauna of Congo and Sudan.
