Meina Chopard (1872–1938) was a Swiss painter, draftswoman, and engraver. She came from the famous Chopard family: she was the daughter of the watch engraver Paul Virgile Chopard and the niece of Louis-Ulysse Chopard, founder of the House of Chopard. Her body of work includes, in particular, landscapes of Belgium and Switzerland, as well as portraits and studies.

This intimate-sized work captivates with its soft, luminous palette and peaceful countryside atmosphere.

Very good condition. The matboard is in excellent condition, and the artwork has just undergone professional cleaning by a conservator.
