Imposing Porcelain And Gilded Bronze Centerpiece Bowl, 19th Century.

A beautiful, very large porcelain bowl in the Sèvres style, with a rich, gilded, and chased bronze mount.
The "sky blue" bowl features two beautiful hand-painted scenes.
The first depicts an allegory of Fire, with putti forging arrows; the second represents Water, with young angels playing by a stream.
The interior is painted with a floral scene featuring butterflies and dragonflies.
The rim is decorated with foliage, acanthus leaves, and two gilded bronze lion muzzles biting a ring, symbolizing the handles.

Magnificent base in chiseled and gilded bronze, consisting of a trio of Cupid figures seated on rocks.

In very good condition; one bow has been restored.
