A very pretty small Louis XV-era cabaret table, likely made in the La Rochelle region, notable for the elegant simplicity of its construction and the magnificent quality of its wood.

It features a wide, fixed top made of solid cherry wood, of a generous thickness, with a surface displaying a particularly rich and warm grain. The tabletop is beveled at all four corners, while its perimeter is accented by an elegant molded and slightly raised rim, characteristic of cabaret tables designed to hold objects placed on their surface.

The beauty of this table lies in particular in its antique cherry wood, whose honey, amber, and reddish-brown hues are especially deep. The marks and small irregularities visible in the wood bear witness to its past use and fully contribute to its charm.

The modestly molded apron opens at the front to reveal a drawer, adding extra functionality to this small table. Its lower section is accentuated by a scalloped line, with gentle curves that blend seamlessly into the design.
