Louis XIV Side Table In Walnut.
This charming little Louis XIV side table is made of solid walnut. Its top is edged with a small, scalloped molding on three sides and a small corbel molding on the front. The scalloped apron opens on one side with a drawer fitted with a brass knob. Its four baluster-shaped legs are joined by an H-shaped stretcher, and it rests on quadrangular feet. It is in good condition and is one of those small pieces of furniture, now extremely rare on the market, that would be equally at home in a living room, bedroom, or even an entryway. Late 17th or early 18th century. Dimensions: top 53 cm x 34 cm, height 74 cm.
