Porcelain Vase, Restoration Period.
This porcelain vase is painted onthe front with a polychrome bouquet; the artist has depictedvarious flowers, whose colors he has skillfully harmonized; they arerendered with such realism and delicacy that onecould mistake them for real. Roses stand alongside peonies indeep red, the arrangement brightened by the white of the lilies and accented byyellow and purple flowers. On the back, a few swirls completethis multicolored composition; among them are charming pansies, delicate clematis, vigorous morning glories,and two plump roses. In very good condition; the only wearis on the gilding along the collar edge.
