Tours School, 19th Century.

This enameled ceramic plaque from the Tours school has as its motif a couple of beggars inspired by German characters created by the sculptors Wilhelm Kruger or Simon Troger. They are treated in relief and polychromy like the dishes of the School of Tours and represented in a realistic manner. The reverse is marbled in the image of this production. In good general condition, it should nevertheless be noted that there are two small chips in the corners and some small losses of enamel here and there. 19th century period. Dimensions 18cm x 12cm.
