"Curved Buffet, 18th Century."
This beautiful oak sideboard opens with four doors, two small on the sides and two large in the center. Originally from the North of France, it has a curved facade, both convex and concave, the doors are richly molded and a cornice appears in the lower part and under the top, the sides have the same molding framing the panels. The interior of the particularly neat piece of furniture is made up of flowerbed panels and the corners are fitted with small rounded spandrels. This 18th century piece of furniture has reached us in a very good state of conservation, its top, its back, its feet are original, only the locks have been replaced as well as the entrances which are from the Directoire period. On the board three or four lengthwise pieces were placed to fill gaps caused by shrinkage of the wood.
