Two-section Sideboard
Beautiful 18th-century two-section sideboard, from the Vendée region
It features four molded doors and two drawers on the front. The panels are adorned with elegant herringbone veneer work, complemented by delicate geometric inlays. The curved “gendarme’s hat” cornice, the antique hardware, and the finely crafted keyholes give it a great deal of character.
The piece offers ample storage space and is suitable as a wardrobe, a linen cabinet, or a storage sideboard.
In good overall condition considering its age, with signs of use, marks, and possible past restorations that contribute to its authenticity. Interior, locks, and disassembly details to be specified.
