It is part of an unusual set in Sarreguemines production, two teapots with men's heads, two coffee pots with women's heads, which bear the mold numbers from 3876 to 3879.
These items are very often considered by collectors as part of the collection of anthropomorphic pitchers in Sarreguemines.
