The plate is decorated in blue monochrome, with MATHIS in the basin and a circle of small cars against a backdrop of Alsatian landscapes on the wing.
The exterior of the wing is represented by a cogwheel, an emblem found on many Mathis brand objects.
The Mathis factory was located in the Meinau district of Strasbourg.
In a publication by the Historical Commission of the "Les amateurs de Mathis" association (1986), the creator of this decoration is not mentioned.
Stamp printed in black "SARREGUEMINES" with DV overprint.
Diameter - 24.50 cm.
