Provencal Hunting Buffet, 18th Century.

This walnut hunting sideboard is curved on threeon three sides, it opens with two large framed doors, elaboratelymolded around the perimeter and fitted with double-flush panels.The flared sides also feature large sinuous moldings and panelssinuous moldings and double-banded panels.the lower crosspiece is scrolled and carved with a large openworkand carved with a large openwork shell from which emerge, on either sideand flowering branches, while the lower part of the mantelpiece is decoratedand the jambs are carved with acanthus leaves and flowers.acanthus leaves and foliage, ending in scrolled feet,The back legs are half-scroll-shaped. The cabinet is topped with aturquoise marble top. This well-preservedonly a few restorations have been carried out, the rear crosspiece has beenhas been changed and the floor reworked.
