Seascape Signed "y" From Kermadec.
Thislarge three-masted ship, with all sails set, is heading toward us under apost-storm sky. A few clouds remain, amber and pink;they are slowly dissipating. The sea is still choppy, and the windfills the white sails. The soft light coming from the distanceevokes twilight or early morning. The dark hull stands out againstthe luminous horizon and the white foam of the waves. In the distance, a second, smaller sailboat is visible. The sea breeze seems to bring the scene to life:it transports us to the decks of these ships and invites us on ajourney of adventure. The choppy sea offers aremarkable spectacle where the pristine crests play withemerald and blue reflections.
