Gold Restoration Brooch.
This gold brooch is set with nine garnets, one of them is in the center, resting on a small cross embellished with diamond shards, all on a black enamelled background, studded like stars, with a semi Golden. On the perimeter are arranged, the other eight stones, surrounded by a small enamel scarf. The openwork frame is chiseled with two circular friezes that simulate basketwork patterns. Eagle's head hallmark, control in force since 1838. Restoration period. Dimensions 4.2 cm x 3.4 cm. Gross weight 11 grams.
